About Us

Hi, I’m Maegan – the face behind Scent Creations NZ. I’m based in beautiful Hokitika and a proud mum to six amazing kids. After spending most of my life working in hospitality, I decided it was time for a change – something that would let me stay closer to home and my family while still doing something I love.

I’ve always had a passion for creating, and after lots of trial and error (and a whole lot of learning!), I taught myself how to make candles and wax melts. What started as a personal project has grown into something so much more – a small business built from love, creativity, and the joy of making something others can enjoy in their own homes.
